My husband, Dan, is a wonderful husband and talented builder. When I mentioned a year ago that his new greenhouse he built would make a wonderful art studio, his reply was, 'You can't have my greenhouse, but I will build you an art studio.' I was more than surprised when a year later I was painting in my new Hummingbird Studio! Dan and I designed the studio during the winter of 2019/2020. We subcontracted the insulation, drywall and electrical and did all the rest of the work ourselves! Our adult children, Paul and Katherine, came two weekends in the summer of 2020 to help us put on the roof, install windows and the exterior siding. The pictures tell the 'dream come true' story.
