Chukar Gathering
This painting was inspired by a visit to my friend, Laney's home. She had Chukars around her home at her bird feeder and I took a lot of photos. I have painted these birds many times. This painting is an oil on a large piece of slate. My husband purchased the slate in the Black Hills and I am having a blast painting on this beautiful stone!
