Another painting from the UW Art of Hybridization series. This painting was inspired by how the Red Shafted Flickers and the Yellow Shafter Flickers hybridize and create a hybrid flicker creating orange feathers.

This project was funded by a University of Wyoming Biodiversity Institute Novel Outreach and Education Grant.
