Oriole Species Trinity
Oriole Species Trinity is part of the series from the UW Art of Hybridization. This painting focuses on the western Bullock's Oriole on the left and the eastern Baltimore Oriole on the right and below the Oriole hybrid. The background color behind the Baltimore Oriole shows a dark, lush green for the eastern foliage and the Bullock's Oriole has the lighter, dryer green foliage background. The border depicts some of the oriole food including berries, bugs, moths, beetles and more.
